Dylan Thomas once said of Mousehole that this is the prettiest village in England. Certainly this little fishing village is much painted, photographed and written about.

Mousehole’s small sandy beach and pretty harbour leads off narrow twisting streets lined with excellent shops, restaurants and pubs.

Further afield  are beautiful coves, rocky headlands, pretty towns and places to go such as

Newlyn - the largest fishing port in the south west (1 mile)

Penzance - bustling town and harbour with many shops & restaurants (3 miles)

Lamorna Cove - picturesque harbour and cliftop walks (2 miles)

Porthcurno - one of the best beaches in the UK, site of Minak Theatre (7 miles)

Sennen Cove - beautiful beach, famous for surfing (9 miles)

St Ives - famous for fishing, art galleries, studios, shops & restaurants (10 miles)

Lands End (10 miles)

Marazion pretty old town, lovely beach & access to St Michaels Mount’s (6 miles)
