“Sandpiper is immaculate, well equipped, quiet location and great view. We rent a lot of cottages and this was one of the best we have stayed in” S & D – Ryde – 19/06/10
“We were thrilled with Sandpiper which is a beautifully decorated, extremely well
equipped and comfy modern bungalow. We loved the decking which provides an ideal
sun trap while enjoying fantastic views of the sea and surrounding scenery. Thank
you for a wonderful home from home holiday” D & P -
“We really loved the accommodation and the views -
“What a fab beautiful place to stay, warm, cosy, clean & modern with the picturesque sea views. How wonderful it is to have the decking to sit & enjoy a relaxing drink or two and enjoy the views whatever ... the time of day. The Mousehole lights were breathtaking (better than Blackpool’s famous illuminations!) the perfect way to spend the festive season – well done!!! We would love to come back at any time of the year ...” P, G & C – Keighley West Yorkshire – 2/01/10
“Lovely cottage & great weather. Very good walking & food – blew away some cobwebs! We hope to come again. Thank you ...” L & J & A – Cambridge – 23/10/09
“What a delightful house in a delightful village! We`d recommend the Kings Arms (for good traditional pub food, for the Tribute bitter), & we had a fabulous meal at the Cornish Range. For a very quiet (but unmanned) beach, park at Pendeen Lighthouse & walk East (for a mile or so) – a really unspoilt & stunningly beautiful beach ...” T & S – Reading – 26/9/09
“Beautiful cottage, friendliest locals we have met anywhere, would recommend St Ives, Penzance, Lamorna Cove & Pottery, Mounts Bay, The Lizard in wild & windy weather. Would highly recommend the Kings Arms (4 minutes walk) for both value for money and quality, very friendly bar staff and delicious meals. The fish Trio meal was freshly caught in the morning and was the best & freshest fish I have ever tasted. Mousehole is beautiful and unspoilt, we missed the lights by a week, but are planning to return next year. Thank you for making our holiday special and enjoyable and hassle free...” S & G – Wallington Surrey – 6/12/08
“Delightful, well equipped cottage with views to die for. An ideal base for touring this area ... For eating, we can recommend the Cornish Range in Mousehole, the Kings Arms in Paul and for a special treat, the Bay Restaurant, Hotel, Penzance. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in a beautiful part of the world...” T & A – St Albans Herts – 20/9/08
“Lovely bungalow in a great location. Sea views were lovely to look at every morning. T... & J... enjoyed Porthcurno beach & St Ives (lovely sand). Visited Flambards play area which was very good (T.... 4 yrs) loved it ...” R, J, M & J – Wigin
“What a lovely Christmas week we have had at Sandpiper! A very comfortable and thoughtfully
laid out cottage – and importantly – a very well equipped kitchen for a fine Christmas
lunch! Mousehole has been a terrific place to stay (especially with Christmas lights
and Tom Bawcock`s Eve). Great food at 2 Fore Street. Thank you for a lovely stay

“Very practical holiday home, particularly in unseasonal weather! D... & H ... at
Marine Discovery (Penzance Harbour) provided the highlight of the week with a 2 hour
rib trip around the coast to Lands End. Fabulous food at 2 Fore Street and Cornish
Shores near harbour. Despite weather, body boarding at Sennen Cove really good fun
– especially for 7 year old & her Dad! ...” A, S & G – Yorkshire -
“Back for out third visit to Sandpiper and had a wonderful holiday again. Even more
special as it was S.....`s first holiday. Stunning weather made for perfect beach
weather. Porthcurno and Carbis Bay both very popular with M.... (3). Sandpiper made
a great base ....” J, N, M & S -
“What a week we’ve had – we arrived (March) with coats, gloves & hats but have only needed sun hats & sun block! There`s so much to do here, we’ll definitely be back. Highlights have been views from the Lizard and discovering the beautiful Porthcurno beach below the Minak Theatre – and following the coastal path to many other beautiful sandy bays. We’ve meandered around St Ives and loved Glendwagan Garden. Sad to leave Mousehole and lovely ‘Sandpiper’ ... ” K, C, T & H – Crewe – 7/4/07
“Mousehole is now our second home! The bungalow was clean, cosy & comfy; and a roaring
fire during the cold & windy (December) week was ace! Mum threatened to become your
squatter, but I dragged her way! Will be back next year. Thanks so much! ...” A &
